The materials contained in this section, "Faculty Training Modules" were taken directly from the, "ASD Project", Version 4.0, copyright 2003-2006, Utah State University.  The materials were formerly in a free-standing online training program that can no longer be used because of security concerns pertaining to the architecture of the underlying code and hardware system requirements.  

The materials were copied, for the most part, exactly as they appeared in the online format.  However, in some circumstances, the language used was not person-specific language or is no longer considered appropriate and has been changed to reflect the current acceptable nomenclature.  In addition, not all pictures or videos have been copied from the online version.  

A note about how links work within these training modules:

• Links to terms within this training module will open a page within the same window/tab and go to either (1) a glossary of terms page and directly to that term, or (2) to a window that defines that term.  With either method, after reading the definition of the term, select the back arrow on your browser to get back to the modules.
• Links going to websites not within the Disability Training website will open in another window/tab.
